Accessibility Statement
We want everyone who evaluates GuestMetric to be able to read this site and use its forms, whatever device or assistive technology they use. This page says what we have done, what we know is still imperfect, and how to tell us when something gets in your way.
The standard we work to
This website is built to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We treat that as the floor for the GuestMetric product as well: the platform's design system specifies accessible color and typography, keyboard operation, and status information that never depends on color alone.
What we have done on this site
- Pages use semantic HTML with a logical heading order, landmarks for navigation and main content, and a "skip to content" link.
- Every interactive element can be reached and operated with a keyboard, and keyboard focus is always visible.
- Text and essential interface colors meet or exceed the WCAG AA contrast ratio against their backgrounds.
- Form fields have visible labels, required fields are marked, and error messages are written in plain language and announced to screen readers.
- Status information uses text labels alongside color; nothing important is conveyed by color alone.
- Text can be resized to 200% without loss of content or function, and the layout adapts to phone, tablet and desktop screens.
- Animation is limited and is turned off for people who have asked their device to reduce motion.
- Illustrative product screens are marked as decorative images and are described in text for people who do not see them.
- The site loads no third-party scripts, so there are no embedded widgets with their own accessibility problems.
What we know is not perfect
- The product mockups on the homepage are illustrations. They are described in text, but they are not operable interfaces and are not meant to be.
- The homepage calculator uses native number inputs, which some screen readers announce differently from one another.
- We test with current versions of major browsers and screen readers. Older or less common combinations may behave differently.
We review the site when we change it and fix accessibility problems as part of normal maintenance, not as a separate project.
Tell us when something is in your way
If any part of this site is hard to use, or if you would like information from it in another format, email info@guestmetric.com with "Accessibility" in the subject line. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser and assistive technology you were using if you know them. We aim to reply within two business days and to fix confirmed problems promptly.
Accessibility of the GuestMetric product
Customers evaluating the platform can ask us for its current accessibility conformance report during the evaluation process. The product is designed with keyboard accessibility, accessible contrast and typography, touch-friendly controls, and clear text labels for every status, and it is built to be used on desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
